New Painting

"Butterfly Fae"

I decided to do a fairy. She has decorative paper collaged as her dress and a 3D butterfly in her hair, and sparkling, gold detailing. "Butterfly Fae" will be up on Ebay later tonight.

Two New Whimsical Paintings

Here are two new paintings that will be up on Ebay soon. I decided to do some whimsical ones. ^_^ The first one is called "The Owl Maiden" and the second one is called "Oceana". These things inspire me. I love owls, especially barn owls. They are so majestic. And I have always wanted to be a mermaid. I always used to pretend to be one when I was little. Hope everyone is having a bright, summery day!

Roses Just Because...

I got these beautiful roses from my boyfriend, Zack, on Friday.
I asked him, "Why did you bring me roses?"
His answer was, "Just because I love you."

This next photo is another commissioned piece for the same lovely lady I did some for a while ago. In all, I am doing 6 paintings for her house. It is a match to the kitty in the sink. Hope she likes this one as well.

Summer Time

This summertime weather puts me in a nature mood. I painted this sweet nature girl today.
It is called "Keeper of the Garden". I went a little crazy with this one. I actually collaged real leaves along with decorative paper. I put several coats of modge podge over the leaves so they should be good. Just felt like trying something a little different. I will be putting this painting up on Ebay soon.

I'm Back and Trying Something New

It's been a long time since I have posted or painted anything. I have been so busy with the end of the school year before I graduate with my Associates of Art from Jefferson College. I am very excited to be going to Maryville University for Graphic Design in the fall. I received a pretty good scholarship for my portfolio so I am pretty pleased with that. Now that I am out of school for the summer...I just couldn't wait to start painting again. So here is the result of my long awaited painting time. I love vintage stuff so I decided to paint a vintage 20's girl. She will be put up on Ebay soon. :)

I hope everyone has been having a great spring and ready for the summer to come. I will definitely be looking around at blogs to see what's new. Can't wait to see the awesome art that is being created!!!

Another Easter Painting...

Another Easter painting to put up along with "Bunny Girl" on Ebay today! This one is called "Easter Egg Hunt". She's all dressed in her Sunday best with her Easter bonnet and her little, white, patent leather shoes. Reminds me of many of my sister and I's Easter outfits when we were little.

What I've Been Up To...

I have been doing some commissioned pieces of Siamese cats for a lovely lady that purchased some of my paintings on Ebay. Here are two of the paintings that she wanted for her bathroom and one to match the other one she bought for her kitchen. As I work on these, I will definitely paint some new ones to put up on Ebay as well. I have some wonderful Spring ideas! ^_^ I will post them when they are finished.

Hoping for Spring weather soon,

New Stuff on Ebay!

Here are some new paintings that are on Ebay. The first one is a textured one called "In Good Hands". This sweet, little angel is sad that she must take the kitty away from the owner; but kitty is in good hands. The second one is another "Siamese Love" painting. The last three are small, magnet paintings. (from left to right: "Siamese Kisses", "Angelic Embrace", "Rub My Belly, Please")

Oh, goodness. I am so tired of all this winter weather and ready for spring! I can't wait to go outside.

Trying Something New!

I decided to try something new. They are somewhat stylized still lifes. The first one is called "Pear Perfection". The second is "Sunny Citrus". And the last one is "Spring Is Here". I used rich, pure color with a glossy finish. I decoupaged tissue and decorative paper to give a very pronounced texture to the canvas. They look very neat hanging together. ^_^ I will soon be putting them on Ebay.
I also relisted the painting from my last post on Ebay.

New 3D Painting

I decided to do another 3D painting. It's called "A Conversation with the Flowers". This time I added ribbon...so the girl's bow in her hair is a real one. lol ^_^ This painting is up on Ebay already. I also relisted some older ones. Most of the paintings are the ones in the last three posts...so giving a second chance to anyone who wants to buy them.

Whimsical, New Paintings!

I was just in a whimsical mood yesterday, and decided to paint these! They both have lots of sparkle and shine. The first one is called " The Magic Tree" and the second one is called "Secret Sea Admirer". I decided to try something different and put 3D butterflies on the first one. lol I was inspired by the new 3D Alice in Wonderland movie coming out soon. I am excited to see it! ^_^

New Painting Soon To Be On Ebay!

I painted this today! It is called "Siamese Love". The size of the canvas is an odd shape, but I thought it was neat. I will list it on Ebay soon. ^_^

New Paintings!

Well the Wonderful holiday season is over...a little sad. Our family still hasn't gotten around to taking the decorations down...I think it is more that we don't want to, than haven't had time. lol Above are two new paintings on Ebay, "Shower with Love" and "Kitty Play Date". Have to get into the next holiday I guess lol ^_^

New Paintings on Ebay!

Just listed these paintings today. The first one is called "Welcome Home, Kitty". Such a happy feeling when a lost pet finds its way home. The second one is just something I wanted to try: It's a little night snow scene. ^_^

First Snow and 2 Days of Making Cookies

My sister and I were in charge of making all the Christmas cookies. So many to make....it took about 2 days! Our aprons were very dirty after that. Here are some photos of the famous cut-out cookies, a secret recipe. ;) The other photos are a photo of the tree, the first snow, and a very happy, very fat, Christmas kitty!

New Painting and My Cat

"Snow Angel"
I have a new painting soon to be on Ebay. Snow angels are always fun to make....but very chilly after. lol
My Kitty
My little feline, Snickers, is never more than three feet away from me (unless he's eating lol). Always curious. Always nagging for my attention. And always in need of petting. What a snuggle bug! So very happy to have this little furry companion. ^_^
